No Valley Water term limit increase

Take 30 seconds to tell the Valley Water Board of Directors to not spend approximately $3.2 million to try to increase their term limits from 12 to 16 years, especially by placing it on the ballot as a “limit” of 4 terms rather than an “increase” to 4 terms. Read the 3/4/22 Mercury News article! On 3/17/22, Solutions Silicon Valley also asked the public to “say no to this political trickery”.
The Valley Water Board voted last week to spend about $3.2 million to place on the ballot an increase in their term limits from three 4-year terms (12 years) to four 4-year terms (16 years). Rather than phrase it as “increase” in term limits to four, it will be phrased as a “limit” to 4 terms with no reference to the fact that it would increase it from 12 years to 16 years.
You may use the form below to automatically send an email to all Board members asking them rescind their decision. You will also have the option to add a personal comment to the email.
Dear Valley Water Board of Directors,
I ask you to rescind your vote to spend approximately $3.2 million to try to increase your term limits from 12 to 16 years, especially by placing it on the ballot as a “limit” of 4 terms rather than an “increase” to 4 terms. This is not a good use of funds and I will share this information with others.
You may not use my contact information for any purpose other than to respond to my concern regarding the topic listed above, nor may you share my address with any other organization(s) or individual(s).
