ACE Charter School

ACE Charter School is a 5th-8th grade middle school that seeks to recruit incoming students who have fallen significantly below grade level and help those low-achieving students change their academic trajectory away from failure and accelerate them toward proficiency as a stepping stone to college.  ACE believes every graduate will enter 9th grade proficient in English-Language Arts and Math as measured by the California Standards Test (CST) portion of the state STAR program, and will possess the skills, knowledge, and work ethic to thrive in a rigorous college-prep high school curriculum.

Alum Rock Students First (ARSF)

Join with parents, teachers, and community members working to make Alum Rock Union School District (ARUSD) schools better for our kids.

The ARSF mission is to: 1) Encourage parent, teacher and community engagements focused on the needs of students. 2) Educate parents, teachers, and community on how to have a positive impact on School Board decisions. 3) Provide a comprehensive, balanced perspective on the needs of our students.

The Alum Rock Educational Foundation (AREF)

The foundation raises funds for educational projects in areas such as Music, Performing Arts, Arts and Culture, Science, Math, Technology, and Recreation & Sports to support our vision of helping the children and families of Alum Rock achieve success. Founded in 1999, the foundation has raised almost $2 million, provided over $42,800 in grant funds affecting 298 teachers, and 9,500+ students, and is arranging for 4,000+ backpacks for students at 19 schools this school year. The Foundation’s volunteer Board works with ARUSD administration, Board Trustees, and employee organizations to enrich the educational experiences of Alum Rock students.  For more information:


Adelante Dual Immersion Academy

Adelante is an Alum Rock Union School District small school. Adelante holds high standards for our school community in the areas of: classroom instruction; parent involvement; 100% homework completion; appropriate student behavior; and a safe bully-free environment. These factors are critical to student success and everyone is held accountable to do their part. Adelante is a school of choice and parents who choose this school for their child have also chosen to be committed to these standards that make our school a very unique and special place. East Side Union High School District Education Foundation

The purpose of the foundation is to support and enhance the extra curricular, educational and athletic opportunities for the students of the East Side Union High School District. Recent budget reductions have significantly impacted our district’s ability to fund our education, support, extra curricular, and sports programs. The East Side Union High School District faces a $9 million deficit for the 2010-11 school year. The effect of the crisis will be felt at every level.The district is taking a number of steps to address this financial crisis including reducing costs and seeking new funding sources such as a parcel tax. The foundation was created to provide an additional avenue for the community to get involved and provide direct support to critical programs. For more information:
