All fireworks are illegal in the City of San Jose with the exception of those sponsored or otherwise authorized by the City of San Jose. The City will strictly enforce fireworks ordinances. Learn how to report illegal fireworks in your neighborhood. City staff explains the 2025 fireworks law enforcement plan and answers your questions.
